Mr. James (Jim) Floyd Mullen, age 73, of Cedartown, passed Friday, March 14, 2008 in an out of town hospital. He was born July 19, 1934 in Newcomerstown, Ohio. Mr. Mullen was of the Baptist Faith and was previously employed with AT&T.

Mr. Mullen is preceded in death by his parents, Mr. Charles B. Mullen & Mrs. Jewell Hattie Byard Mullen; and a son, Jeffery D. Mullen.

Family survivors are wife, Jeannie Davidson Mullen; daughters and son-in-laws, Jana & Morris Collins of Cedartown, Joleah & Eddie White of Marietta; sons and daughter-in-laws, James (Jim) & Donna Mullen of Cedartown, Jerry & Connie Mullen of Cedartown, Kim & Betty Harrell of Cedartown, and Kerry Harrell of Rome; sisters & brother-in-laws, Marilyn & Jack Ellis of Newcomerstown, Ohio, and Mary Ann & Frank Perrucci of Naples, Florida. Mr. Mullen is also survived by his Grandchildren, Kristie Smith, Jeremy Mullen, Laura Azabache, Anna England, Joshua Mullen, Stacey Mullen, Jaclyn Groover, Dalis Collins, Christopher Collins, Ethan Mullen, Shane Harrell, and Ty Harrell, and 5 Great Grandchildren.

The funeral service for Mr. Mullen will be held on Sunday, March 16 at 2:00 p.m in the chapel of the Gammage Funeral Home with Rev. Chris Hearn and Dr. James Guy officiating.

The family will receive friends on Saturday March 15, 2008 from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the Gammage Funeral Home.
