Mr. James Luther Crawford, age 69, of Cedartown, Georgia passed away on Tuesday, July 27, 2010. He was born on April 19, 1941 in Borden Springs, Alabama. He was the son of James and Ivelvia Murdock Crawford.

Mr. Crawford was a truck driver for Woods Brothers trucking company for many years.

Mr. James Crawford is survived by wife, Joyce Howard Crawford; daughters, Robbie Bordner, Jana Crawford, Jeana Carnes, and Kelly White; son, Jamie Crawford; sister, Carolyn Dye; brother, Jimmy Lee Crawford; 11 grandchildren and four great- grandchildren.

Mr. James Crawford is preceded in death by his parents, James and Ivelvia Crawford and sister, Octavia Lyle.

The funeral service for Mr. James Crawford will be conducted on Friday, July 30, 2010, at 2 o'clock in the afternoon at the Church of God Of The Union Assembly in Cedartown with Rev. Leon Allen and Jesse Hughes officiating. The body will lie in state at the church from one o'clock in the afternoon until the funeral hour. Interment will follow in the Northview Cemetery.

The family of Mr. Crawford will receive friends on Thursday, July 29, 2010, from 6:00pm- 9:00pm at the Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home.

Pallbearers are Stevie Meadows, David Prince, Jimmy Turner, Bryan Haney, Shalon Turner, William Prince, Patrick Haney and Derrick Haney.

The Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home is handling the arrangements for Mr. James Luther Crawford.
