Mr. James "Bobby" Charles Chestnut, age 74 of Cedartown, passed away on Thursday, September 25, 2014. He was born on February 8, 1940 in Gadsden, Alabama. He was the son of the late A.C. Chestnut and Varner May Galimore Chestnut.

Mr. Chestnut is survived by his loving wife, Helen Brumit Chestnut; daughter, Vickie Chestnut; sister, Joyce Gref; brother, Marlin Chestnut; grandchildren, April Bilodeau and Bobbie Nichols and six great-grandchildren, Hannah Grogan, Erika Bilodeau, Kara Bilodeau, Samantha Bilodeau, Savannah Nichols and Jaxson Nichols.

Mr. Chestnut is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Billy Chestnut and sisters, Shirley Elier and Marie Rodriguez.

The funeral arrangements for Mr. Chestnut will be conducted on Sunday, September 28, 2014 at two o'clock in the afternoon in the Gammage Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Leon Allen and Rev. Wayne Smith officiating. Interment will follow in the Northview Cemetery.

The family of Mr. Chestnut will receive family and friends on Saturday, September 27, 2014 from seven o'clock in the evening until nine o'clock in the evening at the Gammage Funeral Home.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers; Billy Howard, Glen Frazier, Eric McDonald, Dee Rose, Junior Rogers, Dooney Jarrell, David Wells and Mickey Lane.
