Obituary

Mr. James Nathaniel "Nut" Camp, age 69, passed away on Monday, December 28, 2009. He was born November 25, 1940 in Polk County, GA.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Woodrow W. Camp and Grace Marks Camp; and brothers-in-law, Gene Bentley and Les Scarborough.

Mr. Camp is survived by wife of fifty years, Hazel Camp; daughter and son-in-law, Denise and Jeff Chastain; son and daughter-in-law, Craig and Amy Camp; sisters, Geneva Bentley, Patricia Scarborough, and Retha Cozart; sisters and brothers-in-law, Rebecca and Howard Davis, Jeanette and Roy Born; brothers and sisters-in-law, J.B. and Frances Camp, Jerry and Gwen Camp, and Ray and Lavonne Camp; and seven grandchildren, Kyle Camp, Kenny Camp, Tyler Camp, Grayson Camp, Caleb Lester, Carissa Chastain, and Josh Chastain.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 29th, from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. at the Gammage Funeral Home.

The funeral service for Mr. James Nathaniel Camp will be conducted on Wednesday, December 30th, at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Olin L. Gammage & Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Kenny Camp and Rev. Rebecca Holmes officiating.

The interment will be at Northview Cemetery. Tom Cantrell, Doyle Lanham, Ted Swope, Ervin Boyd, Larry Ware, and Lanny Camp will serve as pallbearers. All of Mr. Camp's grandchildren will serve as honorary pallbearers.

Masonic Burial Rites will be conducted by Caledonia Lodge #121 and West Georgia Masonic Memorial Club.

The Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home is handling the arrangements for Mr. James Nathaniel "Nut" Camp.
