Mr. James Robert "Bob" Morrison, age 83, of Livingston, TN formerly Cedartown, GA, passed away on Thursday, November 1, 2012. He was born on March 29, 1929 in Polk County, Georgia to the late Robert Lee & Maude Hicks Morrison.

Bob was a computer systems analyst for National Life Insurance Co. for 35 years. He was a member of the Gideons International and he was a Deacon & Sunday School Teacher at the First Baptist Church in Livingston, Texas.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Christine Morrison of Livingston, Tenn.; daughter & son-in-law, Judy & John Moore of Livingston, Tenn.; 2 Grandchildren, Dr. Matthew Moore of Charlestown S.C., and Kelly Jones of Knoxville Tenn.; 3 Great-Grandchildren, Samuel & Henry Jones & Cole Moore as well as local family members in Cedartown, Georgia.

The funeral services for Mr. James Robert "Bob" Morrison will be conducted at 2 p.m., Sunday, November 4, 2012 at the First Baptist Church in Livingston, Texas with Rev. Donald Cobb & Dr. Matthew Moore officiating. Burial will be in the Overton County Memorial Gardens in Livingston, Texas. The family will receive friends on Saturday evening November 3, 2012 from 5 until 8 p.m. at the church.
