Mrs. Jacqueline "Jackie" Bowen Stringer, age 64 of Cedartown, passed away on Monday, July 7, 2014. She was born on July 15, 1949 in Cedartown. She was the daughter of the late Rev. Jack Bowen and Mrs. Mary Elizabeth "Topie" Peterson Bowen.

Mrs. Stringer was a long time member of the Union Grove Baptist Church.

Mrs. Stringer is survived by her loving husband, David Paul Stringer;son, Andrew "Andy" Stringer, step-son, David Paul Stringer, Jr. and wife Laura and four grandchildren, Skylar, Jordan, Michael and Lauren Stringer.

Mrs. Stringer is preceded in death by her parents and step-son, Michael Scott Stringer.

The funeral arrangements for Mrs. Stringer will be conducted on Friday, July 11, 2014 at eleven o'clock in the morning in the Gammage Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Billy Barrett officiating. Interment will follow in the Northview Cemetery.

The family of Mrs. Stringer will receive family and friends on Thursday, July 10, 2014 from seven o'clock in the evening until nine o'clock in the evening at the Gammage Funeral Home.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers; Jimmy Anglin, Dale Roberts, Gary Martin, David Stringer and Andy Stringer. Honorary pallbearers will be Ray Floyd, Jerry Allen, Danny Ashley and Terry Simms.

Flowers are being accepted; however, donations can be made to the Pancreatic Cancer Foundation, P.O. Box 1848, Longmont, CO 80502.
