Mr. Jackie Winfred Bridges of Cedartown, GA, 65, passed away Sunday, June 1, 2008. He was born in Polk County, GA on May 9, 1943. He retired from the Painter's Union Local 193.

Mr. Bridges was preceded in death by his parents, Hershel Washington Bridges and Louise Trammell Bridges; sister, Jeanette Cole; and brothers, Billy Bridges, Bobby Bridges, Donald Bridges, W. H. "Dub" Bridges, and Jerry Bridges.

Mr. Bridges is survived by daughters, Rebecca Howard, Bridget Martin, and Venoka Woodard; Son, Isaiah Bridges; and 4 grandchildren. Mr. Bridges is also survived by special friend, Katherine Satcher.

The visitation for Mr. Bridges will be held Thursday, June 05, 2008 from 9:00 -11:00 a.m. at the Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be conducted on Thursday, June 05 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of the Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Boatner officiating. Interment will follow in the Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Jeff Woodard, Trevon Holder, Dale Cowan, and George Linder.
