Jack Elrod, Jr.'s Obituary
Mr. Jack Elrod, Jr., age 43, of Cedartown passed away suddenly on Wednesday, November 28, 2007. He was born March 18, 1964 in Polk County.
Mr. Jack Elrod, Jr. was a 1982 graduate from Cedartown High School. Jack was an all-round, well-accomplished athlete competing in basketball and track. He was an outdoor enthusiast enjoying fishing and hunting.
Family members surviving are mother, Mrs. Betty Sue Knight Elrod; daughter, Jessica Rae Elrod; sisters, Connie Rutledge and Donna Rogers; brother, Larry Elrod. Numerous nieces and nephews and beloved friends also survive.
He is preceded in death by father, Mr. Jack Elrod, Sr.
The funeral service for Mr. Jack Elrod, Jr. will be conducted on Sunday, December 2 at 4:00 p.m. in the chapel of Gammage Funeral Home with Rev. Wayne Benefield officiating. Interment will follow in Northview Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 1, from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. at the Gammage Funeral Home.
