Mrs. Ida Mae Cook, age 76 of Cedartown, passed away on Sunday, July 3, 2016. She was born on May 29, 1940 in Cedartown. She was the daughter of the late Clark Spivey and Edna Mae Terry.
Mrs. Cook is survived by her husband, William Cook; sons and daughter-in-laws, Rick and Susan Crawford, Richard and Susan Crawford, and Allen Cook; sisters, Louise Bradshaw, Glenda Faye Castleberry and Betty Jo Barton; brothers, Ellis Terry (Ann) and Joel Terry; grandchildren, Janae and Parker Crawford, Dakota and Lexi Crawford, Christy and Lindsey Brown, Natasha Cook, Scott, Michael and Kimberly Cook; a number of great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews also survive.
Mrs. Cook is preceded in death by her first husband, James "Jim" Crawford; parents; daughters, Jan Marie Crawford and Deborah Frances Brown; sons, James Randy Crawford and Jeffery Cook; sister, Mary Ann Reeves and brothers, Henry Terry and Hudson McCary.
The funeral arrangements for Mrs. Ida Mae Cook will be conducted on Thursday, July 7, 2016 at two o'clock in the afternoon in the Chapel of the Gammage Funeral Home with Rev. Gerald McPherson and Rev. Kevin Owens officiating. Interment will follow in the New Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family of Mrs. Cook will receive family and friends on Wednesday, July 6, 2016 from five o'clock in the evening until seven o'clock in the evening at the Gammage Funeral Home.
The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Dakota Crawford, Parker Crawford, Jimmy Crawford, Brody Cook, Brad Cook and Chad Cook.
