Mrs. Ibra Nettie Bower Wheeler, age 99, of Cedartown, Georgia, passed away on Friday, April 22, 2022. She was born on April 9, 1923 in Floyd, Virginia.  She was the daughter of the late William Wallace and Ibra Nettie Martin Bower.

Mrs. Wheeler is survived by her daughter, Deborah Annette Wheeler; grandsons, Jason Scott Mair (Jessica) and Cory Patrick Mair; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Wheeler is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lebus Dowling Wheeler; brother, Walter Barnard Bower; step mother, Dessie Palmer Bower; step brother, Lewis Palmer Bower; step sister, Margaret Bower Adams (Norman) and many uncles, aunts and cousins.

The funeral service for Mrs. Ibra Nettie Bower Wheeler will be held on Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at two o'clock in the afternoon in the Chapel of the Gammage Funeral Home with Rev. Wayne Benefield officiating. Interment will follow in the Anniston Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Anniston, Alabama.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Barry Carr, Kelly McLendon, Matthew Pharr, Robert Haney, Stephen Molock, and Bill Lundy.
