Mr. Howard Hughes, age 82, of Cedartown, and formerly of Blue Ridge, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, December 20, 2014. He was born on June 5, 1932. He was the son of the late Henry Grady Hughes and Julie Queen Hughes.

Mr. Hughes is survived by his children, Robert Hughes, Virgilene Dunson, Angie and Wendell Martin, and Henrietta and Ronald Rampley; 7 grandchildren, Kelly Hughes, April Pinson, Sam Pinson, Josh Dunson, Pearle Martin, Jade Martin, and Janice Rampley; and 4 great-grandchildren, Jason Hughes, Michael Hughes, Dennis Chavez and Gil Hughes

Mr. Hughes is preceded in death by his parents; and wife, Charlotte Tatum Hughes.

In accordance with Mr. Hughes wishes, he was cremated.

A memorial service for Mr. Howard Hughes will be conducted by the family at a later date.
