Mr. Homer Tison Roberson, age 83, of Cedartown, passed away on Sunday, May 22, 2011. He was born on February 6, 1928 in Polk County, Georgia the son of the late Mr. Munyon Roberson and Mrs. Martha Runyon Roberson.

Mr. Roberson is survived by his wife, Beth B. Roberson; daughter and son-in-law, Pam Roberson Talley and Mike; son and companion, Mike Roberson and Melanie Mills; grandson, Matt Roberson; and great- granddaughter, Kaylee Elizabeth.

Mr. Roberson is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Houston Roberson.

The funeral service for Mr. Roberson will be conducted on Wednesday, May 25, 2011 at two o'clock in the afternoon in the chapel of the Gammage Funeral Home with Dr. David Taylor officiating. Interment will follow in the Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. The American Legion Post #86 Honor Guard will be conducting military rites.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 25, 2011 for two hours beginning at 12:00 noon until the funeral hour at the Gammage Funeral Home.

Honorary Pallbearers are Coy Wilkes, Millard Greer, Leon Garrett, Sammie King, and Dick Mason.
