Mr. Homer Harold Dempsey, age 85, passed away on Saturday, March 19, 2022. He was born on November 14, 1936 in Cedartown. He was the son of the late James Clifford and Alene Smith Dempsey.

Mr. Dempsey is survived by his sister, Mary Berry; four nieces; one nephew; and several great nieces and great nephews.

Mr. Dempsey is preceded by his parents; sister, Sarah Alice Owens; brother, Daniel Dempsey; and an infant brother.

A graveside service for Mr. Homer Harold Dempsey will be held on Sunday, March 27, 2022 at three o'clock in the afternoon in the family plot of the Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Damon Perry officiating, following the graveside service full Military Rites will be conducted by the Rockmart Legion.

The family of Mr. Dempsey will receive family and friends on Sunday, March 27, 2022 from one o'clock in the afternoon until the graveside hour at the Gammage Funeral Home.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Daniel Barfield, AJ Dostart, Steven Tucker, Wesley Atterton, Glenn Atterton, and Corey Smith.
