Obituary

Mr. Hollis Cuzzourt, Sr., 76, of Oak Grove Rd., Cedartown passed away on Thursday, Dec. 2, 2004 at his residence. He was born on July 30, 1928 in Floyd County.
Mr. Cuzzourt served in the United States Army during World War II stationed in the Phillipines.
Mr. Cuzzourt was retired from Georgia Power where he worked as the head mechanic for line construction's heavy equipment. He has been affliated with the Locklake Dairy and Miss Georgia Dairy since 1956.
Mr. Cuzzourt was a member of the Oak Grove Baptist Church since 1956. He was also a member of the American Legion Post #86.
He is preceded in death by his parents Ivy and Bessie Dye Cuzzourt and his brothers Harvey and Herschel Cuzzourt.
Mr. Hollis Cuzzourt is survived by his wife, Bobbie Green Cuzzourt, to whom he was married for fifty-six years. Also surviving are sons and daughters-in-law, Hollis Clifton Jr. and Janet Cuzzourt; Michael Lee and Linda Cuzzourt; and John Phillip and Michelle Cuzzourt; daughter and son-in-law Julia Anne and Don Robinson; grandchildren, Dr. Jeremy Clifton and Kristin Cuzzourt of Lexington, KY, Verena Nicole Cuzzourt, Kevin Thomas Cuzzourt, Eva Catherine Cuzzourt, Allison Michelle Robinson, Holly Anne Robinson, Ilsa Grace Cuzzourt, Oliver Silas Cuzzourt and Louella Lucille Cuzzourt.
The funeral for Mr. Hollis Cuzzourt, Sr. will be conducted on Sunday, December 5th at 2:00 pm in the chapel of the Gammage Funeral Home with the Rev. Billy Brown officiating. Interment will follow in the Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Ray Evans, Kevin Cuzzourt, Jeremy Cuzzourt, George Wallace, Robert "Sonny" Burns, C.E. "Gene" Cuzzourt.
Honorary pallbearers are Georgia Power co-workers.
Full Military rites conducted by The American Legion Brewster-Cleveland Post #86 Honor Guard.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, Dec. 4th from 6:00 until 8:00.
The Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements of Mr. Hollis Cuzzourt, Sr.
