Mr. Hiram Lee, 99, of Knight Rd., Rockmart, GA passed away on Monday, November 22, 2004 at his residence. He was born on August 19, 1905 in Haralson County to parents Willie and Exie Robinson Lee.
Mr. Lee was a member of the Anna Kresge Memorial United Methodist Church. He was a retiree of Goodyear Mills.
Mr. Lee is preceded in death by his parents; his wife Omie Hyde Lee and son, Russell Lee.
Mr. Hiram Lee is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Wayne and Linda Lee; Grandchildren, Cindi and Mark Hicks, Cherri Lee, Michael and Jennifer Lee and Michelle Lee; Great Granddaughter, Allison Hicks; Sister Mary Carter.
The funeral for Mr. Hiram Lee will be conducted on Friday, November 26th at 3:00 pm at the Anna Kresge Memorial United Methodist Church with the Rev. Ed Cadle and the Rev. John Giglio officiating. The body will lie in state at the church one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in the Greenwood Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Bob Temple, Ray Merritt, Guy Rutland, C. E. David, Charlie Van Shiflett and Orice Brannan.
The Friendship Sunday School Class will serve as Honorary Pallbearers.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, November 24th from 6:00 until 9:00 pm.
The family request that flowers be omitted. Contributions may be made to the Anna Kresge Memorial United Methodist Church Building Fund.
