Mrs. Hesta Roberta Swindall Lipscomb, age 84, of Cedartown, Georgia, passed away on Monday, August 3, 2020.  She was born on February 10, 1936 in Gadsden, Alabama.  She was the daughter of the late Daniel and Ella Shirley Swindall.

Mrs. Lipscomb is survived by her daughters, Frances Whisenant, Vickie Davis, Glenda Cline, Bertie Pollard, and Ruby Timms; sons, James Lipscomb and Christopher Lipscomb; sister, Lena Hampton; 24 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Lipscomb is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Melvin Ray Lipscomb; brothers, Tom Swindall, Edward Swindall, Bill Swindall, Ben Swindall, and David Swindall; and great-grandson, Austin Jarrell.

In accordance with local, state, and federal guidelines a private service will be held for Mrs. Lipscomb's immediate family.
