Mr. Hershel Dwayne Short, age 51, passed away on Sunday, July 15, 2012. He was born on May 13, 1961 in Arizona.

Mr. Short is survived by his mother, Sara Shaw White; daughter, Rebecca Leann Short; son, Dustan Floyd Short; sister, Cindy Short Meadows and five grandchildren, Erin Chastain, Haley Dabbs, Garrett Chastain, Jalyn Short and Ally Pyles.

Mr. Short is preceded in death by his father, Mr. William Floyd Short.

A graveside service for Mr. Short will be conducted on Tuesday, July 17, 2012 at eleven o'clock in the morning at the Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Earl Partain officiating.
