Mr. Hershel Davis, age 63, of Cedartown passed away on Wednesday, April 11, 2007. He was born on June 18, 1943 in Floyd County.

He is preceded in death by his father, Stewart Davis; sister, Betty Sue Davis; brothers, Benny Davis, Robert Davis and twin brother, Herbert Davis.

Mr. Davis is survived by wife, Bobbie Davis; daughter and son-in-law, Lisa Deems and Bryant Deems and mother, Frances Davis. Also surviving are grandchildren, Eugene Deems and Julie Ledbetter and great grandchildren, Logan Deems, Alivia Deems and Austen Ledbetter.

The funeral service will be conducted on Friday, April 13th at 2:00p.m. at Faith Baptist Church with Rev. Danny Tucker and Rev. Earl Partain officiating. Interment will follow in Northview Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 12th from 6:00p.m. until 9:00p.m. at the Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home.

Pallbearers are Eugene Deems, Joel Ledbetter, Sam Cannon, David Davis, Corey Davis and Greg Arp. Honorary pallbearers are the Deacons of Faith Baptist Church.

The Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home has charge of the arrangements for Mr. Hershel Davis.
