Mr. Herschel Shelton Langston, age 76, of Cedartown, passed away on Friday, January 20, 2012. He was born on May 30, 1935 in Piedmont, Alabama. He was the son of the late Mr. Shelton Langston and Mrs. Trudie Olean Word Langston.

Mr. Langston is survived by his two sons, Jimmy Langston and Terry Langston; two sisters, Betty Rogers and Jeanette Cheeks; and six grandchildren

Mr. Langston is preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Curtis Langston.

The funeral service for Mr. Herschel Shelton Langston will be conducted on Monday, January 23, 2012 at eleven o'clock in the morning in the chapel of Olin L. Gammage & Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Boatner officiating.

The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the funeral service on Monday January 23, 2012 from ten o'clock until eleven o'clock in the morning at the Gammage Funeral Home.

In keeping with Mr. Langston's wishes his body will be cremated following the funeral service.

The Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home is handling the arrangements for Mr. Herschel Shelton Langston.
