Mrs. Helen Slaughter Davis, age 89, passed away on Saturday, March 5, 2016. She was born on May 27, 1926 in Cedartown. She was the daughter of the late Johnny Slaughter and Katie A. Slaughter.

Mrs. Davis is survived by her daughter, Janice Diamond (Tommy); her sisters Imo Gene Johnson, Barbara Parrish (Larry), and Elizabeth Tierce (Gene).

Mrs. Davis is preceded in death by her parents; her sisters Louise Ervin, Frances Humphrey, and Betty Coley; and her brothers Franklin Slaughter, Sonny Slaughter, and Ray Slaughter.

A graveside service for Mrs. Helen Slaughter Davis will be conducted on Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at three o'clock in the afternoon at Polk Memory Gardens with Dr. DeWayne New officiating.

The family of Mrs. Helen Slaughter Davis will receive family and friends on Tuesday, March 8, 2016 from two o'clock in the afternoon until the graveside hour at the Gammage Funeral Home.
