Mrs. Helen Ruth Arp Cushing, age 74 of Cedartown, Georgia, passed away on Friday, January 17, 2025.  She was born on August 15, 1950 in Piedmont, Alabama.  She was the daughter of the late Jasper and Maggie Alexander Arp.

Mrs. Cushing is survived by her husband, Edward Bill Cushing; daughter, Barbara Cushing; son, Tony Edward Cushing (Dana); sister, Sara Woody; grandchildren, Cody Cushing (Maykala) and Nichole Cushing (Donovan); great-grandchildren, Ava Grace Cushing and Koplyn Edward Cushing; and several other extended family members.

Mrs. Cushing is preceded in death by her parents and numerous brothers and sisters.

A memorial service for Mrs. Helen Ruth Arp Cushing will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2025 at two o'clock in the afternoon in the chapel of the Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Jodie Cushing officiating.

The family of Mrs. Cushing will receive family and friends on Saturday, January 25, 2025 from one o'clock in the afternoon until the memorial service hour at the Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home.

Honorary pallbearers will be Mrs. Cushing's nephews.
