Ms. Hazel Womack Corn, age 82, of Cedartown passed away on Thursday, June 24, 2010. She was born on April 2, 1928 in St. Louis, Missouri, the daughter of Frank and Mamie Womack (both deceased).
Ms. Hazel Corn was employed at Rome Plow; and later at the Colonial 5 & 10.
Ms. Corn is survived by a son, Jimmy L. Corn and wife Linda of Cedartown; and two grandsons Brian Corn and Zachary White.
Nephew Yogi Lorrens 3 nieces Pansey Blankenship,Helen Davis & Judy Fincher.
Ms. Corn is preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Mamie Beck Womack; and husband, Lewis Noel Corn.
The funeral service for Ms. Hazel Corn will be conducted on Saturday, June 26, 2010, at 11:00 am in the Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Reginald Campbell officiating. Following the service at the Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home Chapel, the interment will be at Polk Memory Gardens.
The family of Ms. Hazel Corn will receive friends on Friday, June 25, 2010 from 6:00pm- 8:00pm at the Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home.
Pallbearers are Jimmy Corn, Brian Corn, Paul Blankenship, Ricky Nale, and Brandon Wooldridge. Honorary pallbearers are Yogi Lorrens and Zachary White.
