Rev. Harvey C. Brown, of Fort Payne, Alabama, passed away on Sunday, June 26, 2016. Rev, Brown was born and raised in Cedartown, Georgia. He was the son of the late Grover C. Brown and Lillie H. Brown.

Rev. Brown was the pastor of many churches in our area including Lake Creek Baptist in Cedartown, Georgia and Hollywood Baptist in Rome, Georgia.

Rev. Brown was preceded in death by his wife, Annie Mae Evans Brown, in 2004, 2 sisters and 4 brothers.

Rev. Brown is survived by 4 children, Anita Jo Dean Douthat (Richard), Harvey C. Brown Jr., Diane Langston, Tim Brown (Helen). One brother Henry Brown (Bonnie), and one sister Myrtice Swafford (Seals) also survived.

The funeral service for Rev. Harvey C. Brown will be held on Wednesday, June 29 at Second Baptist Church in Fort Payne, Alabama at 2 P.M. (Central Standard Time). The family will receive friends from 12 noon until the funeral hour at the church.

Rev. Clifton Brown, Rev. Steve Swafford and Rev. Michael Hughes will be officiating and all ministers are asked to be honorary pallbearers. Interment services will be at 10 A.M. Thursday, June 30 at Glenwood Cemetery.
