Mr. Haroldine Perdue, Sr., 76, passed away on Tuesday, March 13, 2012, at his home.
A memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m., Saturday, March 17, 2012, at Ray Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Barry Throckmorton officiating.
Haroldine was born on April 10, 1935 in Rockingham County, NC to the late Eddie Washington and Dovie Via Perdue. He was an Army veteran, retired from Washington Mills and Tultex and was a retired Mayodan Fireman.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, George and Coolidge Perdue and twin sister, Geraldine Farmer of Cedartown.
He is survived by his wife, Ola Throckmorton Perdue of the home; sons, Dean Perdue and wife, Patricia of Madison, Jimmy Perdue and Larry Perdue and wife, Tabitha, both of Mayodan; brothers, Vinson Perdue (Virginia) and Javon Perdue (Pat); brother-in-law, Tommy Farmer (widower of Geraldine) of Cedartown; sisters, Opal Daniel and Marie Grogan; sister-in-law, Margaret Perdue (widow of Coolidge); grandchildren, Stacey Moore, Lyndsie Johnson, Brittany Southern and Bradley Perdue; great-grandchildren, Autumn and Chyenn Moore and Mackenzy Johnson.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., Saturday, March 17, 2012 at Ray Funeral home prior to the memorial service.
