Mr. Harold Cornelious Whitaker, age 78 of Winston, Georgia passed away on Wednesday, March 26, 2014. He was born on October 12, 1935 in LaGrange, Georgia. He was the son of the late Frank Marion Whitaker and Lois Worthington Whitaker.

Mr. Whitaker is survived by his daughters, Lisa Whitaker Heathcoat and Tracy Welsh; son, Christopher C. Whitaker and three grandchildren, Seth Waldrop, Danielle Hayes and Jake Welsh.

The funeral arrangements for Mr. Whitaker will be conducted on Friday, March 28, 2014 at two o'clock in the afternoon in the Chapel of the Gammage Funeral Home with Rev. Leon Allen officiating. Interment will follow in the Greenwood Cemetery with Military Rites conducted by the Brewster-Cleveland American Legion Honor Guard Post #86.

The family of Mr. Whitaker will receive family and friends on Friday, March 28, 2014 from twelve o'clock in the afternoon until the funeral hour at the Gammage Funeral Home.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers; Andy Hayes, Jake Welsh, Seth Waldrop, Rick Beal, Rob Beal and Chris Whitaker.
