Mr. Harold P. Morgan, age 93, of Cedartown, passed away on Saturday, April 2, 2016. He was born on October 28, 1922 in Cedartown, Georgia. He was the son of the late Daniel Webster Morgan and Ora Dell Morgan. Mr. Morgan was a World War II veteran and received a Bronze Star while serving in the United States Army.

Mr. Morgan is survived by his wife, Charlene Morgan; daughters, Patricia Stoica (John), Margaret May (Bernie), and step-daughter Patti Pence; sons, Daniel Wesley Morgan (Harriet), Harold R. Morgan (Deborah), and step-sons Michael McCord (Denise) and Frank L. Morgan (Beth); eight grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

Mr. Morgan is preceded in death by his parents; sisters Eva McBrayer and Catherine Broome; and brother Doyle Morgan.

The funeral service for Mr. Harold P. Morgan will be conducted on Tuesday, April 5, 2016 at two o'clock in the afternoon at the Gammage Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Allen Carmichael officiating. Interment will follow in the Greenwood Cemetery with Full Military Rites conducted by the Brewster-Cleveland American Legion Post #86 Honor Guard.

The family of Mr. Morgan will receive family and friends on Tuesday, April 5, 2016 from one o'clock in the afternoon until the funeral service hour at the Gammage Funeral Home.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Frank L. Morgan, Michael McCord, Daniel Morgan, Rance Morgan, Ryan Morgan, and Evan Morgan.

The family will be accepting flowers or, as an alternative, donations may be made to the Anna Kresge United Methodist Church in memory of Mr. Harold P. Morgan.
