Mr. Harold Loyd Forrester, age 87 of Temple Georgia, formerly of Cedartown, Georgia, passed away on Friday, February 1, 2013. He was born on September 22, 1925 in Piedmont, Alabama. He was the son of the late John Jackson Forrester and Sarah Jane Long Forrester.

He was a veteran of the United States Navy and retired from the Lockheed Corporation.

Mr. Forrester is survived by his loving wife, Evelyn Marie Stephens Forrester; daughter and son-in-law, Linda & Charlie Beatenbo; granddaughter and her husband, Donna and Dan Alwine; and great grandchildren, Drew Alwine and Dylan Alwine.

He is preceded in death by his parents; 3 sisters, Louise Hainds, Myrtile Stone, Ruth Thompson; 7 brothers, Chester Forrester, John Henry Forrester, Wesley Forrester, Alvin Forrester, Calvin Forrester, Vansant Forrester, and Arnold Forrester.

The funeral service for Mr. Harold Forrester will be conducted on Monday, February 4, 2013 at One o'clock in the afternoon at the Gammage Funeral Home with Rev. Micah Williams and Rev. Allen Grimes officiating. Interment will follow in Polk Memory Gardens with Full military rites conducted by the American Legion Brewster Cleveland Post 86 Honor Guard.

The family of Mr. Forrester will receive family and friends on Sunday, February 3, 2013 from 6:00pm to 9:00 pm at the Gammage Funeral Home.

Michael Brannan, Brent Hooper, Joey Payne, Adam Lester, Derrick Kines, and Dan Alwine will serve as Pallbearers. Curtis Reaid and David Forrister will serve as Honorary Pallbearers.
