Mrs. Gypsy Mae Jackson Adams age 99 of Jonesboro formerly of Cedartown passed Thursday, February 23, 2006. She was a Charter member Cedartown church of Christ.
Mrs. Adams is preceded in death by her husband, W.C.L. Adams and parents, John and Sallie Jackson.
Mrs. Adams is survived by daughters, Betty Hammon of Guild, Tennessee and Susan Nash of Jonesboro; son, B.L. Adams of Greenwood, S.C.; four grandchildren three great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, February 25th at 11:00AM at the Cedartown church of Christ with Mr. Douglas Sims speaking. She will lie in state one hour prior to the funeral hour. Interment will follow at 3:30PM in Greenwood Cemetery in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
The family will receive friends Friday, February 24th from 5:00PM until 7:00PM at Gammage Funeral Home.
