Mrs. Greathel Williams Kines, age 81, passed away on Thursday, July 26, 2007. She was born on March 23, 1926 in Dixieanna, Alabama to parents, the late H. D. and Eula Bell Williams.

Mrs. Greathel Kines is survived by her husband, Mr. Austin Joe Kines, Sr; sons and daughters-in-law, Joe and Rubye Kines of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, Bruce and Priscilla Kines of Decatur, Alabama; daughter, Angela K. King of Cedartown; grandchildren, Joey and Ashley King of Calhoun, Katie Kines of Decatur, Alabama, Susan and Keith Langston of Tuscaloosa, Alabama; great grandchildren, Matthew Langston and Joshua Langston.

The family will receive friends on Friday, July 27, from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the Olin L. Gammage & Sons Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, July 28, at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of the Olin L. Gammage & Sons Funeral Home with Dr. Larry Conner and Rev. Patrick Latham officiating. The interment service will follow at Northview Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Paul White, C. E.David, Hal David, Warner Prince, James Foster, and Tom Frawley.
