Mrs. Gracie Mae Mobbs Deaton, age 93 of Silver Creek, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday February 8, 2023. She was born on July 9, 1929. She was the daughter of the late Raymond and Myrtle Allen Mobbs.
Mrs. Deaton is survived by her son, Johnny Tyrone Howell; brothers, Herbert Mobbs and Russell Mobbs; grandchildren, Kim Venable and Donnie Wayne Venable; great-grandchildren, Janae Lynn Womack, Ashley Lynn Cash and Kristen Nichole Welchel and great-great-grandchildren, Shiley Grace Hamrick, Gatlin Cooper Welchel and Lincoln Maverick Womack.
Mrs. Deaton is preceded in death by her parents and husband, Gordon "Buddy" Deaton.
The funeral service for Mrs. Gracie Mae Mobbs Deaton will be held on Sunday, February 12, 2023 at three o'clock in the afternoon in the chapel of the Gammage Funeral Home with Rev. Kirby Moore officiating. Interment will follow in the Northview Cemetery.
The family of Mrs. Deaton will receive family and friends on Sunday, February 12, 2023 from one o'clock in the afternoon until the funeral hour at the Gammage Funeral Home.
The following gentlemen will service as pallbearers: Wayne Womack, Johnny Weddington, Mike Pendleton, Samuel Cash, Riley Womack, and Mike Mobbs.
