Mr. Gordon Eugene Reeves, age 77, of Cedartown, Georgia passed away on Friday, November 20, 2009. He was born May 2, 1932 in Floyd County, the son of James Clifford and Ida Mae White Reeves.

He is preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Faye Chappell, Pudd Johnson, and Edna Morris; brothers, Bill Reeves, Sam Reeves, and Leroy Reeves.

Mr. Reeves is survived by wife, Rebecca Gentry Reeves; daughters, Dora Reeves, Anne Rawlinson, Glennelle Sanchez; sons, Kenneth Reeves, Steven Reeves, Frankie Reeves; daughter-in-law, Elaine Reeves; step-daughters, Debra Womack, Betty Norris; step-sons, Johnny Clark and Richard Clark; brothers, Melvin Reeves and Junior Reeves. Twelve Grandchildren and eleven Great Grandchildren also survive.

The funeral service for Mr. Gordon Eugene Reeves will be conducted on
Sunday, November 22nd, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Phillip Chapman and Rev. Dennis Queen officiating. The interment will follow in Polk Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 21st, from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. at the Gammage Funeral Home.

Pallbearers are Adam Smalley, Neal Lowe, Rev. Dennis Queen, Ralph Medley, John Clark, and Jeff Rawlinson. Honorary pallbearer is Dustin Clark.

The Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home is handling the arrangements for Mr. Gordon Eugene Reeves.
