Mr. Glen Jack Coffman, age 79, of Cedartown passed away Monday, August 18, 2008. He was born December 2, 1928 in Cherokee County, Alabama. Mr. Coffman was retired from the Cedartown Fire Department. He was a founding member and former Captain of the Brewster Cleveland American Legion Post #86 Honor Guard for over 50 years. He also served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War.

Family members surviving are Daughter, Lynn Dunaway; Granddaughters, Dana Cox and Allie Dunaway; Great Grandsons, Braden Cox, Tyler Cox, and Daylon Cox; and Sisters, Joyce Couey and Eveline Garner.

Wife, Izola Cox Coffman; and Parents, Estelle Willingham Coffman and Joe Coffman precede him in death.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date. The family also requests that flowers be omitted.
