Ms. Gladys Sanders, age 86, of Rockmart passed away Sunday, August 27, 2006. She was born on February 27, 1920 in Polk County.

Ms. Sanders is preceded in death by her parents, Earl Sanders and Ada Mae Peugh Sanders; brothers, Buford Sanders, Paul Sanders, Junior Sanders, Cleo Sanders, Dewel Sanders, and Adam Sanders; sisters, Faye Landers, Earline Allen, Carolyn Wilson, Ellen Johnson, and Mary West.

She is survived by sister, Helen East and brother and sister-in-law, Harold Sanders and Louise Sanders. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service for Ms. Sanders will be conducted on Tuesday, August 29th at 2:00p.m. in the Chapel of the Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Jeff Carlton and Rev. Hal Brown officiating. Interment will follow in Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Monday, August 28th from 7:00p.m. until 9:00p.m. at Gammage Funeral Home. At other times the family may be contacted at the home of Harold Sanders, 418 Calloway Circle in Rockmart.

Pallbearers are Greg East, Jason Brand, Rob Arnold, Adam East, Jeffrey Johnson and Johnny Johnson
