Mrs. Geraldine Tanner Rowell, age 92, of Cedartown, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, September 6, 2022. She was born on November 16, 1929 in Cedartown, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late W.M. Tanner and Annie Brown Tanner.

Mrs. Rowell is survived by her son, Scott Rowell; grandchildren, Julie Bentley Appley (Alan), Kyle Bentley (Betty); great-grandchildren, Mason Appley, Sadie Appley, Dakota Bentley and Jayden Bentley; and son-in-law, Elmer Bentley.

Mrs. Rowell is preceded in death by her parents; husband, A.F. Rowell, Jr.; and daughters, Kim Rowell Bentley, Janet Fay Rowell and Susan Kay Rowell; sister, Irene Hampton; and brother, Leon Tanner.

A graveside service for Mrs. Geraldine Rowell will be held on Thursday, September 8, 2022 at twelve o'clock in the afternoon in the family lot of Polk Memory Gardens Cemetery with Rev. Robert Wright officiating.

The family of Mrs. Rowell will receive family and friends on Thursday, September 8, 2022 from eleven o'clock in the morning until the graveside service hour at the Gammage Funeral Home.
