Mrs. Georgia Bailey Johnson Sensing, age 95, of Cedartown, Georgia, passed away on Monday, July 22, 2024.  She was born on September 27, 1928 in Cedartown. She was the daughter of the late Sidney Johnson, Sr. and Frances McBurnett Johnson.

Mrs. Sensing is survived by her daughter, Judy Bowden (David); grandchildren, Jamie Sensing, Daniel Bentley, Joel Bentley, Sean Bowden, and Kasey Sensing McBride; seven great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Sensing is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Clarence Clayton Sensing; son, Terry Sensing; sisters, Martha (Lindy) Dean, Beatrice McClain, Louise Crowley, Flora Hurley, Addie Presley, Carro Smith,  and Ida Mae Ragsdale; and brothers, C.D. (Bud) Johnson, E.D. Johnson, and Sidney Johnson, Jr.

A graveside service for Mrs. Sensing will be held on Thursday, July 25, 2024 at two o'clock in the afternoon in the family lot of Northview Cemetery.

The family of Mrs. Sensing will receive family and friends on Thursday, July 25 2024 from one o'clock in the afternoon until the graveside hour at the Gammage Funeral Home.
