Obituary

Mr. George Harvey Wallace, age 73, of Cedartown, Georgia, passed away on Friday, September 11, 2020.  He was born on August 8, 1947.  He was the son of the late George and Emile Suzanne Roberts Wallace.

Mr. Wallace graduated in the class of 1965 from Oregon High School in Oregon, Wisconsin. He went on to study music at the University of Wisconsin Lacrosse.

George always loved music in his life. He toured the U.S. in a band in the 70's, participated in a marching band playing trombone in the 80's and sang in a barbershop quartet and chorus in the 90's.  George was also a member of the Choral Guild of Atlanta during the early 2000s. In his later years he always enjoyed karaoke with friends and family.

Mr. Wallace is survived by his wife, Shirley Ann Stubbs Wallace; daughters, Shannon Lee and Wendy Bonner (Milo); sons, William Wallace and John Reichard; sister, Jane Hooper; brothers, Jim Wallace and John Wallace; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and five fur babies.

Mr. Wallace is preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Chris Wallace.

Floral arrangements are being accepted however the family respectfully requests that cemetery arrangements be omitted.

In accordance with the guidelines and recommendations set forth by the CDC, social distancing guidelines will be in place as well as the use of masks requested for all services provided for Mr. George H. Wallace.
