Mr. George Larry King, age 56, of Newnan, Georgia, formerly of Cedartown, passed away Tuesday, January 8, 2008. He was born May 12, 1951 in Detroit, Michigan.

He is preceded in death by parents, George Monroe King and Clara Bell Young King and brother, Donald Eugene King.

Mr. King is survived by wife, Marion Elaine Crocker King; daughter, Tracy Harry; sons, Travis King, Hayden Marlowe, Andy Marlowe, and Kevin Marlowe; brothers, Quincy Arnold King and Gary Wayne King. Eleven grandchildren also survive.

The funeral service will be conducted on Thursday, January 10, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home with Brother Todd Thompson, Brother Jimmy Thompson, and Brother Eric McGee officiating. Interment will follow in Sanders Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 9, from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are Trent King, Shane Martin, Allen Malone, Richie Parker, Bob Fillip, and Grant Ivy.

The Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home is handling the arrangements for Mr. George Larry King.
