Mr. George W. Abarr, Jr., age, 95 of Cave Spring, GA, passed away on Wednesday, July 18, 2018. He was born on April 19, 1923 in, Omaha, Nebraska.  He was the son of the late George W. Abarr, Sr. and Cora Dell Herrington Abarr.

Mr. Abarr is survived by his sons, George W. Abarr, III, Jon Abarr and Thomas Abarr (Carol); grandchildren, Anne Simone, Geoffrey Abarr, Kaite Abarr and Ellen Abarr; great-grandchildren, Micah Coxwell, Corbin Abarr, Holland Abarr and Lilly Abarr; and two nieces, Cynthia Hennecke of Albuquerque, NM, and Sherry Mink of Lake Tahoe, CA.

Mr. George W. Abarr, Jr. is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Mrs. Francis Coffin Abarr; one sister, and two brothers.

The funeral arrangements for Mr. George W. Abarr, Jr.  will be held on Saturday, July 21, 2018, at twelve o'clock in the afternoon in the chapel of the Gammage Funeral Home with Rev. Camille Josey officiating.  Interment will follow at the Rehoboth Baptist Church Cemetery in Cave Spring.

The family of Mr. George W. Abarr, Jr will receive family and friends on Saturday, July 21, 2018 from ten o'clock in the morning until the funeral hour at the Gammage Funeral Home.
