Ms. Geneva Powell, age 86 of Cedartown passed away April 2, 2006. She was born on April 1, 1920 in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Croford and Corrie L. Brandy Waldren.

She is survived by her grandchildren, Chris and Judy Powell and Don and Julie Kennedy; and great grandchildren, Justin Powell, Chris Kennedy, Sarah Kennedy and Lauren Kennedy. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be conducted Tuesday, April 4th at 4:00PM in the Chapel of the Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home with Dr. Dewayne New officiating. Interment will follow in Northview Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 2:00PM until 4:00PM at Gammage Funeral Home.

Pallbearers are Greg Locklear, Wayne Tillman, Keith Davis, Joey Lee, Justin Powell and Don Kennedy.
