Obituary

Mrs. Geneva Pruitt Casey, age 81, of Cedartown passed away on Saturday, April 28, 2007. She was born July 19, 1925 in Rome, Georgia.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Mr. Hoke Pruitt and Mrs. Iona Tate Pruitt, and by her husband Robert F. Casey, Jr.

Mrs. Casey is survived by her daughter Marianne McCain, sons Robert F. Casey III, Tucker P. Casey, Shawn Casey, her sisters, Vivian Poole, Doris Nephew, her step-mother Maggie Edwards Pruitt, 8 Grandchildren, 2 step Grandchildren, and 7 Great Grandchildren also survive.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, April 29th from 6:00p.m. until 9:00p.m. at the Olin L Gammage & Sons Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be held on Monday, April 30th at one o'clock in the afternoon in the chapel of the Olin L. Gammage Funeral Home with Dr. Charles Drummond, Rev. Gene Beck, and Rev. Wayne Benefield officiating. Interment will follow in Northview Cemetery

Pallbearers are Thomas Casey, Stan Davis, Lee Hightower, Warren Walker, Casey Bowman, and Jim Bowman. Honorary Pallbearers are Kenny Casey, Sonny Trammell, and Dennis Atkins.

The Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home has charge of the funeral arrangements for Mrs. Geneva Pruitt Casey.
