Mr. Gary Wayne Landrum, age 78 of Cedartown, passed away on Thursday, February 5, 2015. He was born on February 4, 1937 in Cedartown. He was the son of the late Ben Landrum and Eva Grubbs Landrum.
Mr. Landrum is survived by his daughters and son-in-laws, Karen and Billy J. Brown, Jr. and Kathy and Bob Norris; daughter-in-law, Trelle Moore Landrum; brother and sister-in-law, Doug and Jerri Landrum; grandchildren, April Smith, Kiley Shaw Stewart, Blake Landrum, and Lacee Landrum; great-grandchildren, Courtney Rittenhouse, Deven Peace, Braden Peace, Logan Smith, Reeva Money and Graham Stewart and great-great-grandchildren, Zayden Dorsey, Lexi Belle Peace and Hayzen Rittenhouse.
Mr. Landrum is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Ramona Reeves Landrum; son, Benny Wayne Landrum and sister, Peggy Rutledge.
The funeral arrangements for Mr. Gary Wayne Landrum will be conducted on Sunday, February 8, 2015 at two o'clock in the afternoon in the Gammage Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Doyle Kelley and Dr. Billy J. Brown, Sr. officiating. Interment will follow in the Polk Memory Gardens Cemetery with Full Masonic Rites conducted by the Caledonia Lodge # 121.
The family of Mr. Landrum will receive family and friends on Saturday, February 7, 2015 from six o'clock in the evening until eight o'clock in the evening at the Gammage Funeral Home.
The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Bob Norris, Billy J. Brown, Jr., Doug Landrum, Jr., Wendell Rhodes, Roger Landrum and Steve Landrum. Honorary pallbearers are Jerry Whitton, Buddy Peek, Wayne Tillmann and Dwain Rutledge.
