Mr. Gary Eugene Hindmon, age 78 of Bremen, Georgia, passed away on Friday, October 6, 2023.  He was born on March 29, 1945 in Cedartown, Georgia.

Mr. Hindmon was a proud veteran, serving in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War.

Mr. Hindmon is survived by his son, Scott Hindmon (Alyssa); grandchildren, Rebecca Laine Hindmon and Bethany Jean Hindmon; sisters, Sue Rhodes (Glen), Reba Mauldin (Roy) and Brenda Pinkard (Harold); brother, Wayne Hindman (Faye); seven nieces and nephews; and several great and great-great nieces and nephews.

Mr. Hindmon is preceded in death by his parents, C.W. and Edna Pitts Hindmon.

The funeral service for Mr. Gary Eugene Hindmon will be held on Tuesday, October 10, 2023 at two o'clock in the afternoon in the chapel of the Gammage Funeral Home with Mr. Roy Maulding officiating. Interment will follow at a later date in the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, Georgia.

The family of Mr. Hindmon will receive family and friends on Monday, October 9, 2023 from five o'clock in the evening until the seven o'clock in the evening at the Gammage Funeral Home.

The following gentlemen will serve as honorary pallbearers: Chad Pinkard, Jared Mauldin, Harold Pinkard, Jimmy Thompson and Kregg Gilbert.

Flowers are being accepted, however donations may also be made in honor of Mr. Hindmon to the Department of Veterans Affairs, 1700 Clairmount Road, Decatur, Georgia 30033.
