Mr. Garland Brock, Sr., age 95, of Cedartown passed away on Friday, March 24, 2006. He was born August 23, 1910 in Polk County. Mr. Brock was a Veteran of the U.S. Army serving during World War II.

Mr. Brock is preceded in death by wife, Brenda Casey Lucas Brock; parents, William Richard Brock and Annie Ruth Grimes Brock.

Mr. Garland Brock, Sr. is survived by sons, Richard Brock, Sr and G. W. Brock, Jr.; sister and brother-in-law, Rebecca Yearty and Gene Yearty of Temple.
Two grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild also survive.

The graveside for Mr. Garland Brock, Sr. will be conducted on Sunday, March 26th at 4:00 PM at Polk Memory Gardens with Rev. Wayne Benefield officiating.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 25th from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Olin L. Gammage & Sons Funeral Home.

Flowers are accepted however donations can be made to First Baptist Church Memorial Fund.
