Mr. Froylan Cervantes, age 82, of Cedartown, passed away on Tuesday, August 3, 2021. He was born on October 3, 1938 in Michoacán, Mexico. He grew up, loved and considered Chicago, Illinois his hometown.

Mr. Cervantes is survived by his children, Mari Cervantes Guzman, Luz Cervantes Guzman, Angelina Cervantes Guzman, Yesenia Cervantes Guzman, Edith Cervantes Guzman, Gonzalo Cervantes Guzman, Jose Cervantes Guzman, Froylan Cervantes Guzman, Ruben Cervantes Guzman, Efrain Cervantes Guzman, Sergio Cervantes Guzman, and Jesus Cervantes Guzman; two sisters; four brothers; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Cervantes is preceded in death by his parents, Gonzalo Cervantes and Avelina Guzman; his wife, Amalia Guzman de Cervantes; and his daughter, Ofelia Cervantes Guzman.

The family of Mr. Cervantes will receive family and friends on Friday, August 6, 2021 from seven o'clock in the evening until nine o'clock in the evening at the Gammage Funeral Home.

The funeral mass for Mr. Froylan Cervantes will be at 2 pm. on Saturday, August 7, 2021 at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 100 Evergreen Lane, Cedartown, GA.  Interment will follow in the Northview Cemetery.

Mr. Cervantes' sons and grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
