Mr. Franklin Dwight Jolly, age 67 of Cedartown, passed away on Monday, August 19, 2013. He was born on July 24, 1946 in Polk County. He was the son of the late Franklin W. Jolly and Pearlie Mae Trantham Jolly.
Mr. Jolly is survived by his daughter, Terri Renee Canania; son, Franklin Dwight Jolly, Jr. "Jinger"; grandchildren, Summer Canania, Rhyley Wayne Summerville; great-grandchildren, Zackary "Trantham" Canania, Rachel Clark, Jameson Demarco and Makayden Demarco; sister, Shirley Peace and a number nieces and nephews and great- nieces and nephews.
Mr. Jolly is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Fredrick William Jolly, Jack Ochel Jolly, Jess Hugh Jolly (Sam) and Terry Patrick Jolly; sisters, Grace Joan Jolly, Frances Gail Jolly Folsom and Rachel Kay Jolly Ellenburg and grandson, Zackery Allen Canania.
The funeral arrangements for Mr. Jolly will be conducted on Thursday, August 22, 2013 at two o'clock in the afternoon in the Gammage Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Patrick Latham officiating. Interment will follow in the Northview Cemetery.
The family of Mr. Jolly will receive family and friends on Wednesday, August 21, 2013 from six o'clock in the evening until nine o'clock in the evening at the Gammage Funeral Home.
The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers; Jimmy Tracy, Kaleb Broster, Gary Broster, Carl Redding, Jeff Minge and Robert Moore. Honorary pallbearers will be, Eric Ellenburg, Albert Smith, Rhyley Summerville, Trantham Canania and Jameson Demarco.
