Mr. Frank E. Watters, age 83, of Cedartown, passed away on Saturday, December 12, 2009. He was born on March 21, 1926.

Mr. Watters is preceded in death by his parents, George Watters and Ethel Sheffield Watters; son, Ronnie Watters; and daughter-in-law, Judy Watters.

He is survived by his wife, Ellen Watters; sons & daughter-in-laws, Danny & Becky Watters of Douglasville, Daryl & Robyn Watters of Cedartown, and Eddie & Pam Watters of Lindale; sister, Sally Robinson; and a brother, Charles Watters. Ten grandchildren, Eleven great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews also survive

The funeral service will be conducted on Monday, December 14, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at New Harmony Baptist Church with Rev. Frank Wright, Dr. DeWayne New, Dr. Charles Drummond, and Rev. Danny Watters officiating. Scarlett Rackley will also share her reflections of Mr. Watters. The interment will follow in Northview Cemetery. Mr. Watters body will lie in state at New Harmony Baptist Church for one hour prior to the funeral service.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, December 13, 2009 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the Olin L. Gammage & Sons Funeral Home.

Chad Watters, Kip Watters, Kyle Watters, Jonathan Watters, Mark Watters, Kevin Watters, Breton Watters, and Aryn Watters will serve as Pallbearers.
