Ms. Frances Elizabeth "Tessie" Lott Peyton, age 80, of Cedartown, passed away on Sunday, April 10, 2016. She was born on December 20, 1935 in Cedartown. She was the daughter of the late Frank "Red" Lott, Sr. and Edna Florence Barton Lott.

Ms. Peyton is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Frank "Bud" Lott, Jr. and Billie Sue; nieces and nephews, Leslei and David Adams, Barton and Julie Lott and Neeve and Barry Owen and great-nieces and great-nephews, Lindsey and Jody Landrum, Dustin Adams, Logan Adams, Mary Ella Owen and Dori Owen.

Ms. Peyton is preceded in death by her parents and husband, Ray Peyton.

The funeral arrangements for Ms. Frances Elizabeth "Tessie" Lott Peyton will be conducted on Wednesday, April 13, 2016 at two o'clock in the afternoon in the Chapel of the Gammage Funeral Home with Rev. Wayne Benefield officiating. Interment will follow in the Greenwood Cemetery.

The family of Ms. Peyton will receive family and friends on Wednesday, April 13, 2016 from twelve o'clock in the afternoon until the funeral service hour at the Gammage Funeral Home.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Barton Lott, David McElwee, Matthew Denton, Marshelle Thaxton, Barry Owen, David Adams, Curtis Vincent and Dustin Adams.
