Mrs. Frances Brock Shiflett, age 89, of Cedartown, Georgia, passed away on Friday, October 15, 2010. She was born on March 14, 1921 in Cedartown, Georgia to the late Ray R. Brock and Salome Harris Brock.

Mrs. Shiflett is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, James R. Brock and Joanne Brock; nieces and nephews, Jim & Wendy Brock, Larry & Susan Campbell, Shelia Rae Brock, Michael & Pam Brock, Danny and Lynn Mangum.

She is preceded in death by husband William Edwin Shiflett; parents Ray R. Brock & Salome Harris Brock; sisters, Elizabeth Ann Brock, Wyline Brock Davidson; brothers, Joe N. Brock, Harris Bunn Brock; and niece, Celeste Brock Phillips.

The funeral service for Mrs. Frances Brock Shiflett will be conducted on Sunday, October 17, 2010 at two o'clock in the afternoon in the chapel of Olin L. Gammage & Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Wayne Benefield officiating. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 17, 2010 from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m.
