Miss Frances Mae Rushing, 85, of Melbourne, Florida, formerly of Cedartown, passed away on Monday, April 12, 2010 in Melbourne. She was born April 28, 1924 in Vero Beach, FL.

She is preceded in death by parents, Tommie and Amelia Frances Davis Rushing; sister, Miss Katherine Burney Rushing.

Miss Frances Rushing is survived by sister, Mary McPherson; brother, Harold Rushing and several nieces and nephews.

The graveside service will be conducted Friday, April 16th, at 2:00 p.m. at the Silver Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Silver Creek with Rev. Larry Ritch officiating.

Miss Frances Mae Rushing will lie in state at the Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home on Thursday, April 15th until 5:00 pm and on Friday, April 16th , from 8:00 am until 1:00 pm.
