Ms. Frances Walters Raybun, age 87 of Cedartown, passed away on Saturday, April 12, 2014. She was born on February 6, 1927 in Springfield, Illinois. She was the daughter of the late Crecy F. Walters and Mary Frances Perry Walters.

Ms. Raybun was a member of the Cedar Lake Christian Center.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Alver Richard "Ray" Rabun; sister, Peggy Ann Walters; brother, Jack Monroe Walters; and her parents.

Ms. Raybun is survived by her sons, Walter A. "Rusty" Raybun (Donna) and A. Richard "Ricky" Raybun; five grandchildren, Destin Uriah Raybun, Dr. Katrina Lynn Katen, Jordan Ashley Raybun, Ashley Kay Raybun, and Laura Kay Newton; and four great grandchildren, Nina Sofie Raybun, Thomas Chance Katen, Josey Lynn Katen, and Beau Harrison Raybun.

The funeral arrangements for Ms. Raybun will be conducted on Monday, April 14, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home with Bishop David Huskins officiating.

The family of Ms. Raybun will receive family and friends for one hour prior to the funeral service on Monday, April 14, 2014 from twelve o'clock until one o'clock in the afternoon at the Gammage Funeral Home.

Kenneth Green, Larry Mears, Mike Lambert, Brandy Brady, and Jordan Raybun will serve as Pallbearers.
